Factors of nutrition and their impact on morbidity"




In support of scientific approaches of the country (Albania)'s priority issues, in compliance with national strategies and the implementation of the Government Programme, Academy of Sciences of Albania in collaboration with University of Medicine of Tirana, Ministry of Health, Institute of Public Health and Compulsory Health Insurance Fund will organize the Scientific Conference:

"Health through Nutrition: Factors of nutrition and their impact on morbidity".

The Conference will be run according to the recommandations made from the two previous Conferences: “Management - the major challenge of the health care system” and “Prevention and early diagnosis of cancer, challenges and opportunities for a positive impact in Albania”, considered top priorities in the Health System Program by the Government.

The meeting will take place on November 21, 2015 at Aleks Buda Conference Hall, Academy of Sciences of
Albania.


The Aim of Conference:


Evidence of the nutrition’s impact on morbidity of population in Albania and the role of nutrition in the prevention and management of specific diseases;

Involvement and raising awareness of relevant stakeholders on the role of food and nutrition in reducing morbidity, Exchanging information and  building capacities of various stakeholders within and outside of the health system throught the training during the Conference;

Approval of the Conference Declaration on policy orientation for the prevention and management of diseases through healthy nutrition.

Participation will be accredited from National Center of Continuing Education and certified from Academy of Sciences of Albania

Registration fee: 2000 ALL For students: 1000 ALL
Students must present a proof of their status.


The conference registration fees include:

•    Access to all official conference sessions
